Our Large Cap Equity accounts are primarily designed for investors who are interested in investing in only large blue-chip companies to achieve superior capital appreciation with lower risk. This product is also appropriate for investors whose liquidity needs preclude ownership of smaller capitalization securities. Through the use of quantitative models, Scholtz & Company is able to perform extensive screening of all stocks listed within the Russell 1000 index. All securities are chosen from this index. Generally, we seek to invest in companies that meet the following criteria:
- Companies with reasonable to low valuation
- Companies with above average revenue and earnings stability
- Companies with sustainable competitive advantages
- Companies with a track record of exceeding investors expectations
